During the height of the pandemic, people gleefully escaped the confines of their homes and enjoyed Hackensack’s drive-in service where food attendants would deliver the orders of the customers to their cars. Customers took comfort in the restaurant’s American diner-style classics like cheeseburgers, fries, cheese dogs, milkshakes, and more. Fast forward to the present and Hackensack is still winning the hearts and appetites of foodies with its nostalgic noshes and old-school vibe.

Due to its growing popularity, the retro-style restaurant from the north will soon open its latest branch, this time in the south, specifically in BF Homes along Aguirre Avenue. In a post made in the Let’s Eat Pare community, the new branch (that’s located near Farmacy) looks larger compared to its northern counterparts in Quezon City and San Juan. The place also has a wide driveway promising its signature drive-in dining experience to future customers.
Bestsellers of the restaurant include their Angus beef 1950s “Onion Steamed” Cheeseburger, Deluxe “Smashed” Cheeseburger, Souther Chicken Burger, Buffalo Chicken Wings, Cheesesteak, Homemade Apple Pie Ala Mode, and milkshakes. Finally, Southies can have a taste of Hackensacks’ diner offerings without driving all the way up to Quezon City.
