Three delectable wheat bread recipes that are easy to do!
Pour olive oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Saute the garlic and onions until fragrant.
Add the diced tomato, water, dried thyme, and chopped basil. Bring the sauce to a boil for 5 minutes. Lower the heat then simmer for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper then set aside.
In a bowl, combine eggplants, olive oil, spanish paprika, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Grill the eggplants in a griller until tender
Brush one side of the whole wheat bread with butter then spread about two tablespoons of tomato sauce on top of the buttered side of the Monde Wheat Bread. Layer a good amount of eggplant on top of tomato sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese. Toast or broil until the cheese melts.
Cut Monde Whole Wheat Bread into cubes. In a bowl, place the cubed Monde Whole Wheat Bread then drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper then mix to coat the bread.
Toast in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until the bread is crunchy.
In a bowl, combine the calamansi juice, apple cider vinegar, mustard, honey, white sugar, and olive canola until incorporated or emulsified. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the toasted whole wheat bread, kesong puti, cherry tomatoes, and basil. Drizzle about 4 tablespoons of calamansi vinaigrette then toss to incorporate everything. Depending on your preference, you can add more dressing and adjust taste with salt and pepper.
Transfer to a serving bowl then serve.
In a food processor or food blender, combine the malunggay, basil, garlic, cashew nuts, and olive oil. Blend until all the ingredients are incorporated. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
In a bowl, place the tuna then add the lemon juice, mayonnaise, and malunggay pesto. Adjust taste with salt and pepper if needed. Set aside or refrigerate
On a clean surface assemble the sandwich. Put a slice of lettuce over a slice of Monde Whole Wheat Bread. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of the tuna malunggay pesto filling then top another slice of toasted Monde Whole Wheat Bread. Slice in half and serve.
