A delicious bowl of Spaghetti and Meatballs inspired by the Disney classic Lady and the Tramp!

Tomato Sauce







Assembly



Meatballs
1

In a bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in the milk for 5-10 mins.

In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs mixture with the other ingredients. Season with salt and peppr and mix well.

Form into ping pong sized balls then chill for at least 10 mins

In a pot, add oil and pan-fry the meatballs for 3 to 4 minutes. Once cooked, set aside.

Tomato Sauce

In the same pot, sweat the white onion for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and cook or another 3 minutes.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook until the oil has rendered.

Add the chopped tomatoes and water then simmer for 15-20 mins.

Add the chopped basil and cooked meatballs then simmer for another 5 mins.

Assembly

Place a cup of cooked pasta in a plate then topped with the meatball sauce.

Serve with grated parmesan and chopped parsley/basil
