Spread the love

While cats may have nine lives, many animals, like Mali, have only one. This November 16-17, 2024, join us for the 9th VegFest Pilipinas, where we honor the memory of Mali, “the world’s saddest elephant” whose desolate life and tragic passing at the Manila Zoo highlighted the urgent need for change and advocacy. Under the theme “United for Animal Liberation,” this year’s festival calls on everyone to come together in solidarity for those who cannot advocate for themselves.

VegFest Pilipinas 2024

There is something for everyone—from plant-based foodies to animal lovers, sustainability advocates, fitness enthusiasts, human rights activists, and everything in between—at VegFest Pilipinas, the longest and biggest annual vegan festival in Asia. Participate in this joyful celebration of compassion and community as we fill both ends of The Spine at Blue Bay Walk, Pasay City with exciting and family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a diverse marketplace featuring delicious vegan food, cruelty-free products, and sustainable lifestyle options.

With PETA Asia as our beneficiary, the festival will support vital initiatives aimed at ending animal suffering across the region. By coming together, we can amplify our voices and work towards a future where all beings are treated with dignity and respect.

“When Mali passed away, I made sure I would dedicate this VegFest to her,” said TJ Jocson, VegFest Pilipinas co-founder and head organizer. “Mali played a big part in my activism when I started. And one of the reasons I chose PETA to be our beneficiary is because it was through them that I learned about the struggles of Mali.”

Join us as we stand united for animal liberation, celebrating nine years of VegFest Pilipinas with open hearts, open minds, and open arms. Let’s create a future where all beings are free from suffering and able to thrive by taking action now. Together, we can make a difference!
