Celebrity Chef, award-winning cookbook author, and popular food personality Chef Tatung funnily yet undeservedly gets called a spy.
As commented by a Facebook user, the person strangely compares Tatung’s last name, Sarthou, as uncommon as the former Porac Mayor, and even questions his accent and his birth certificate. By the way, Sarthou is French in origin for those curious.
In the spirit of fun, Tatung reacts to the post by replying with a caption: Baka spy daw ako? Omg!!!! LOLz. Those familiar and close to Tatung have also shared funny quips about the netizen’s random statement.
Chef Tatung and The Fuzzy Bunch
The said comment was just one of the reactions that came after a news outlet shared about a recent debacle that happened in one of the celebrity chef’s restaurants. According to the original post made on the Simpol chef’s Facebook page, a group of four came to one of his restaurants during a lunch period and started making issues and high demands while name-dropping the chef. They also verbally abused the staff, made slanderous comments, and left the restaurant without paying.
Netizens sympathized with the Simpol cookbook author reasoning that they might be scammers and that he should share images of the chaotic party.
Even with video recordings of the fiasco on CCTV, Chef Tatung still did not share the footage and just lamented how the “fuzzy bunch” didn’t need to be rude, especially to his staff.
