If you’ve been watching Hospital Playlist, 18 Again, and other recent Korean dramas, you might have noticed that the characters love snacking on this giant, delicious-looking sandwiches overflowing with ingredients (we’re looking at you, cutie father and son Ik-jun and Uju!). That filling sandwich is called egg drop sandwich, a popular food trend from South Korea. It looks quite fancy, but it’s actually easy to prepare. You just need fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon or juicy ham, cheese, and other ingredients you’d like to add such as spices or sauces then wrap it all up in a thick, buttery toast. This egg drop sandwich is sooo IG-worthy and definitely filling. Just look at how Hospital Playlist’s Jang Gyeo-ul is enjoying her egg drop sandwich.
