This little nook in Tagaytay is the place to go for couples looking for romantic date destinations. You can book a room for a candlelit dinner with your S.O. and a mini movie screening afterwards. Despite the seemingly French-inspired name, Cafe Voi La is all about Asian fusion, as seen in their menu and their Asian-style interiors. The cafe is actually named after the Vietnamese word, “boi la,” or “to cook with leaves.” According to the cafe’s menu, the owner Ica Manalo Sebastian sources the required unique ingredients in their dishes from her travels herself. A lot of the souvenirs and furniture in the cafe are from her personal collection as well.

From the same group behind Antonio’s comes Balay Dako, a three-floor restaurant specializing on Filipino food. You can enjoy signature cocktails with mouthwatering bar food at the terrace where you can see the Taal Volcano perfectly.

Must-try menu items: Bulalo Flakes with Roasted Bone Marrow, Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon Jam and Roasted Tomato Soup

This cozy bed and breakfast is a perfect getaway for families. You can lose yourself in the refreshing breeze and the scenic view while laying back in the numerous wooden nest-like swing chairs by the balcony area. Plus, they’ve got all kinds of menu items for any palate from “Breakfast to Bangon For” (rice and viand) to “Yakain-Mo-Ako in a Bowl” (soups) and “Di Mo Feel Magkanin” (pancakes and waffles).
