Lady’s Choice welcomed home cooks, foodies, and lifestyle content creators alike to the Unilever Kitchen and opened up their worlds to the many delicious possibilities with the country’s #1 mayonnaise brand.
Aptly named “Mayo-mazing Dishcovery,” the event treated a varied audience of the trusted mayonnaises’ users–from newbie cooks to homemakers to kitchen experts–to a unique dining experience last September 12.
Spotlighting the versatility of the product, Anelle Villanueva, Unilever Country Head for Nutrition, remarks, “Lady’s Choice makes dishes deliciously creamy as it uses high-quality ingredients–among them farm-fresh eggs–to guarantee a satisfying experience on the dining table. This event intends to fill you with the flavor of possibilities, as well as to affirm what we all know: That it only takes a twist of a jar and a dollop of Lady’s Choice to discover the ‘mayo-mazing’ dishes that you can prepare to make everyday meals exciting.”
To open the event, guests took turns with a randomizer that yielded a combination of ingredients and flavors that work with Lady’s Choice mayonnaise to create a mayo-mazing recipe unique to them.
Chef Kai O, Unilever Nutrition Philippines Country Chef led the team that put together the recipes for the dishes served in the event, ranging from B.E.L.T. (Bacon, Egg, Lettuce, Tomato) Sandwiches to Parmesan Chicken Tenders and Salmon Poke Bowls to Chocolate Cupcakes, all made with Lady’s Choice.
In a demo, she walked the attendees through the process of coming up with the recipes and provided insight on how they, too, can recreate these dishes and elevate other everyday dishes with Lady’s Choice at home.
Iya Villania-Arellano also went on her own Mayo-mazing Dishcovery during the event. The mother of four enthused about new recipes and new ways to prepare all-time favorites in her own kitchen, citing the Deviled Eggs and Creamy Mayo Ramen as standouts for her in the all-Lady’s Choice buffet table.
On her main takeaway during the event, Villania-Arellano said, “Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise is more versatile than you think—so versatile, that it can even be used to make your next dessert!”
