Cake base

In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In another bowl, cream and mix the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Fold in the dry ingredients. Then fold in the chopped cashews.

Place in a lined baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 325 F. Bake until the top has browned and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle of the batter. Let it cool.

In a pot, mix all ingredients until thick.

Spread on top of the baked cake. Once cool and stable, slice into serving portions.
