Adobo Rice Cooker Meal

 5 garlic cloves minced
 300 g pork,cut into bitesized chunks
  cup soy sauce
  cup vinegar
 2 bay leaves
 saltto season
 ground black pepperto season
 2 cups uncooked rice
 2 cups chicken stock
1

Set your rice cooker to the "cook" or "sauté" setting. Pour the cooking oil and let it heat up. Add the pork chunks and let it cook in all sides.

2

Add the minced garlic. Sauté until it’s fragrant.

3

Add the soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves, and ground black pepper. If you prefer, season with sugar and oyster sauce. Stir well to combine.

4

Let the mixture simmer for about five minutes to let the meat absorb the flavors. Add the rice to the rice cooker and stir it into the adobo mixture, ensuring everything is evenly coated with the sauce.

5

Pour the chicken stock to cook the rice. Close the lid and let the rice cooker cook until it automatically switches to the "warm" setting, usually around 15 minutes.

6

Once the rice is cooked, open the rice cooker and gently fluff the rice. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed.

7

Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately.
