Beef Fat Chili Garlic Sauce

A flavorful and spicy chili sauce made with beef fat!

 250 g beef fatchopped
 250 g canola oil
 2 garlic bulbminced
 300 g siling labuyo
 1 pc star anise
 3 pcs bay leaves
 1 tsp soy sauce
 1 tsp salt
 1 tsp ground black pepper

Place the beef fat in a pot. Add water until the fat is submerged. Boil for 10 mins then discrad the water.

Add 1 cup of water to the pot then boil again. Once boiling, lower heat and simmer for 20-30 mins until the fat renders

Once the fat renders, add the canola oil, garlic bulb, siling baluyo, star anise and bay leaves. Cook on low heat for 10 mins.

Season with soy sauce, salt and ground black pepper.

Let it cool then transfer to a container. Serve
