Take a pan, pour in oil and heat it at medium heat. Sauté garlic and onions until aromatic.
Add in the bay leaf and tomato paste and render it for about 2-3 minutes before adding in your seasoned chicken parts. Sear chicken for about 2-5 minutes before pouring in water/ chicken broth.
Add potatoes and let simmer for 10 minutes before adding in carrots and soy sauce bell peppers and green peas.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes, check if the chicken and vegetables are already cooked all the way through before taking out of the heat.
