A rich, tasty and addicting fried rice made with aligue!
Combine all the ingredients in a pot then boil for three minutes. Simmer until the rice is cooked. You can also do this in a rice cooker, just make sure the ingredients are mixed well. Set aside and let it cool.
In a big pan over medium-high heat, add the canola oil then saute the garlic, onion, ginger, white part of the onion leeks and siling labuyo until fragrant.
Add the taba ng talangka and cook for three minutes.
Add the shrimps and spanish. Cook until the shrimp changes color.
Place the cooked rice in the pan and mix until everything is incorporated.
Mix in the cilantro, chopped onion leeks and fish sauce then season with salt and pepper. Cook for another minute
Transfer to a serving plate then top with the fried garlic, fried onion, more cilantro, egg and calamansi.
