 1 ½ cups unsalted butterroom temperature
 1 ¾ cups Muscovado sugar
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 8 large eggsroom temperature
 2 ¼ cups cake flour
 1 tsp baking powder
 ¼ tsp salt
 Confectioners’ sugarfor dusting

Cream the butter and muscovado sugar until light and fluffy.

Gently add the eggs one at a time while whisking.

Add vanilla extract then fold in the dry sifted dry ingredients: cake flour baking powder and salt. Fold properly until there are no flour pockets.

Prepare the decorative pan or cake mold. Brush the inside of the pan with butter and lightly coat some of the cake flour. Gently tap the mold and remove the excess flour. Pour the cake mixture into a pan. And bake it in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Let the cake cool for a minute. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
