When you hear the name Shake Shack, chicken is not the first thing that will pop up in your mind. They are known for their made-to-order beef burgers and hand-spun milkshakes. However their new chicken sandwich might change that perspective.
Shake Shack is making Manila hotter with their new chicken sandwich, The Dark Meat Hot Chicken! They recently debuted their new hot and spicy sandwich in all their Manila shacks. This chicken sandwich is made with a spicy fried chicken thigh dusted with a hot pepper blend and topped with a Louisiana hot sauce slaw, kosher dill pickles and served on a pillowy potato bun. This sandwich is best paired with their ShakeMeister Ale or if you’re looking to pair this with something sweet try their signature milkshakes. The Hot Chicken is a fan favorite, which had several limited runs in the US. This is the first time in Shake Shack’s history that they’ll be serving dark meat and this is currently exclusive only in Asia. 
If you’re not into spicy chicken you can get Shake Shack’s other chicken offerings like the Chicken Shack, a sandwich made with fried chicken breast topped with lettuce, tomato, buttermilk herb mayo served on a fluffy bun. You can also check out their Chicken Bites served with Honey Mustard or BBQ dip. You can choose to get 6 pieces or if you’re feeling a bit bolder go get their 10 piece Chicken Bites.
Just like other Shake Shack’s delicious offerings, the Dark Meat Hot Chicken elevates what a chicken sandwich should be. Simple, delicious, and straightforward food that is done very well. Shake Shack might be known for their other products but this Dark Meat Hot Chicken would make its mark now that it’s here.
