The restaurant’s founders were inspired by a desire to introduce Filipino diners to the rich diversity of Korean cuisine. “At Tiger Kitchen, our goal is to broaden the horizons of Filipino diners by offering an extensive array of Korean BBQ options, beyond the classic samgyeopsal,” says Kim Binna, Korean Store Manager.
“While samgyeopsal holds a special place as Korea’s soul food, we aim to introduce a variety of pork and beef BBQ choices that showcase the rich diversity of Korean cuisine.”
What sets Tiger Kitchen apart from other Korean BBQ establishments in the area is its exceptional menu and innovative offerings. The restaurant goes beyond traditional BBQ fare to include unique dishes that cater to all tastes. “Unlike many other places, we provide a broad range of BBQ options, from traditional favorites to unique creations like Beef Tripe Fried Rice with Cheese,” Kim shares.
The menu is designed to appeal to a wide range of preferences, making it an ideal destination for everyone from BBQ aficionados to vegetarians. “Our ability to accommodate various tastes and our innovative dishes make us a unique destination for Korean cuisine. Additionally, we serve a variety of kimchi, providing an authentic taste of Korea and enhancing our diverse culinary offerings,” notes Kim.
A highlight of the Tiger Kitchen experience is the restaurant’s use of dry-aged meat, a technique that elevates the quality of each dish. “One of the defining features of Tiger Kitchen is our use of dry-aged meat,” Kim explains. “We age our cuts in a low-temperature environment to enhance their flavor and texture, resulting in exceptionally juicy and tender meat. This meticulous process ensures each bite is rich in flavor and has a melt-in-your-mouth quality.”
The dining experience at Tiger Kitchen is complemented by a thoughtfully designed space that blends modern luxury with traditional Korean elements. With a capacity to comfortably accommodate over 100 guests, the restaurant is ideal for group reservations and special events. “Our interior combines a calm and luxurious atmosphere, perfect for various gatherings, whether it’s a casual meal with friends or a formal company dinner,” says Kim. For those seeking a more private dining experience, VIP rooms are available, adding an extra layer of exclusivity.
Tiger Kitchen’s commitment to authenticity is evident not only in its menu but also in the overall dining experience. The restaurant’s Korean chef, Ji Young Jin, who has over 20 years of industry experience, ensures that each dish reflects the true essence of Korean cuisine. “Our menu is crafted by an experienced Korean chef with over 20 years in the industry, including experience at a five-star hotel in Korea,” reveals Kim. “This expertise is evident in our dishes, which are continually updated to introduce new flavors and experiences.” Adding to the authenticity, the restaurant’s Korean floor manager brings a touch of genuine Korean hospitality, making every visit a memorable one.
For those eager to explore the rich flavors of Korean BBQ in a setting that combines modern comfort with traditional authenticity, Tiger Kitchen is now open and ready to serve.
