Jollibee Food Corporation (JFC) is adding Tiong Bahru Bakery and Common Man Roasters to its list of international franchises here in the Philippines.
JFC together with Food Collective Pte. Ltd. (FCPL), a Singapore-based company, created a joint venture allowing the brands to come into the country.
Tiong Bahru Bakery is a Singaporean brand specializing in laminated pastries with some netizens exclaiming that it is the best Kouign Amman they ever tasted. It has 16 branches across Singapore and Malaysia.

Common Man Roasters is a specialty coffee shop and an all-day dining restaurant that has 5 branches in Singapore and Malaysia. The brand specializes in roasting its coffee as well as having an established Barista Academy.

Currently JFC is one of Asia’s largest food companies. Its biggest brands are Jollibee, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Chowking, and Highlands Coffee. Some of its international franchises include Burger King, Yoshinoya, and Panda Express. Other homegrown brands include Red Ribbon, Greenwich, and Mang Inasal.
